Jason Dumont, Account Executive

Jason brings political campaign and DC Beltway experience to PCG. As an Account Executive, Jason provides day-to-day account management to several health care clients including outreach to the community and media, and grassroots issues management.
A New Hampshire native, Jason worked on Capitol Hill in the offices of Sen. Judd Gregg as an intern while in college and as a spokesman to constituents for Sen. John E. Sununu. He has experience both on a U.S. Senate candidate’s field staff in New Hampshire and on the consulting side, at East Meridian Strategies. He also has worked at the Homeland Security Policy Institute and at two premier PR firms in prominent capital cities.
During his time at Edelman PR in Washington, DC, Jason worked on the Issues Management team. His work included the Silver SABRE award-winning Business Roundtable campaign “Doing Nothing is Not an Option” focused on health care reform, and two PRSA Silver Anvil finalists.
Jason also has worked for East Meridian Strategies, interfacing with candidates’ campaigns, vendors and a full-service production department to facilitate all products. He wrote copy points and scripts for mail pieces and phone programs, including source information for citations and developed messaging strategy.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He enjoys exploring California with his wife, a native Sacramentan, following sports, especially teams from the Boston area and the Sacramento Kings, and spending time at his family’s lake house in New Hampshire.
