Perry Communications Group Earns Gold

SACRAMENTO – Perry Communications Group (PCG) won 11 CAPPIE awards at the Sacramento Public Relations Association’s 21st Annual CAPPIE Awards ceremony. The event was held Thursday, March 27th at the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento. The CAPPIE Awards honor the Sacramento region’s best public relations work of the past year.

PCG received two gold and three silver awards for:

  • Individual Public Relations Tools – Brochure: Three or more colors – REACH Air Medical Services Pediatric Reference Guide. (Gold)
  • Overall Public Relations Programs – Special or Media Event: Press conference/Press briefing – SCR 49Medication Errors Report. (Silver)
  • More Bang for the Buck Special Event – Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports Spotlight Awards. (Silver)
  • Pro Bono – Special Event- Karen Gaffney “Tahoe Challenge. (Silver)

Additionally, PCG received an amazing six honorable mentions for its work on the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) California Education Awareness Campaign, the PPA Southern California Wildfire Emergency Bus Tour Public Service Campaign, the CalRVDA Promotional/Information Video, the PPA Nevada Radio Spots, the Colon Cancer Alliance Opinion Editorial, and the Mental Health Association in California SB 851 Opinion Editorial.
