SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Perry Communications Group, Inc. (PCG) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Dumont to the position of Senior Account Executive.

“Jason provides immense value to our firm, exhibiting quick wit, energy, passion and intellect in combination with his experiences in Washington, D.C. and New Hampshire. He is taking a leadership role with grassroots outreach, social media and developing effective messaging for the firm and clients,” said Kassy Perry, president and CEO of Perry Communications Group.

Dumont uses his background in journalism, social media, politics and public affairs to enhance PCG’s outreach efforts, address legislative issues, coordinate new business proposals and manage a statewide coalition of health, business and community organizations.

Dumont joined Perry Communications Group in November 2010 as an Account Executive and is a graduate of The George Washington University with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. Prior to working at PCG, Jason was an Account Executive with East Meridian Strategies, an Issues Management intern at Edelman in Washington, D.C., and a staffer in U.S. Sen. John E. Sununu’s office.

In his previous positions, Dumont focused on campaign collateral materials, grassroots messaging, Business Roundtable’s health care reform efforts and constituent affairs. His work includes the Silver SABRE award-winning Business Roundtable campaign “Doing Nothing is Not an Option” focused on health care reform, and two PRSA Silver Anvil finalists.

In addition to his responsibilities at PCG, Dumont is on the communications committee of Metro EDGE, a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber.
