PCG welcomes the addition of two clients

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (October 16, 2013)– Perry Communications Group (PCG) makes a strong entrance into the automotive aftermarket industry with the addition of two clients: the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and CAWA – Representing the Automotive Parts Industry. PCG will provide government relations, public affairs and grassroots consulting services aimed to ensure the motor vehicle aftermarket has a strong voice in Sacramento on issues impacting the maintenance and service of vehicles operated on California roads.

The automotive aftermarket industry encompasses all products and services purchased for light, medium and heavy duty vehicles after the original sale including replacement parts, accessories, lubricants, appearance products, tires, collision repairs as well as the tools and equipment necessary to make the repair. Overall aftermarket sales totaled $307.7 billion in 2012 with sales in the automotive aftermarket (cars and light trucks) totaling $231.2 billion, while sales in the medium and heavy duty vehicle aftermarket totaled $76.5 billion.
