SACRAMENTO – While the recent news stories about Prop 30 have been about the negative turn the advertising has taken, the California Retired Teachers Association (CalRTA) launched its print ads in five major daily papers across the state. The ads are part of the organization’s first-ever independent expenditure campaign in support of Proposition 30, the temporary tax for education, on November’s ballot.
