Michaela Pernetti, Assistant Account Coordinator

Michaela traces her passion for public policy back to the 6th grade, where she engaged in a series of recess debates on Prop 8. That pivotal moment sparked Michaela’s dedication to advocacy and using her voice to push for equality in many different forms, which eventually led to her decision to pursue a career in the world of politics.

At Perry Communications Group (PCG), Michaela is the social media whiz kid. She enjoys applying her interests in health care policy and experience in public relations to conduct health care-focused research and manage content creation for a variety of clients.

Michaela graduated from Santa Clara University in June 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Public Health. During her time in college, Michaela was president of the swim team and an active member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, but she is most proud of her work with Camp Kesem, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. First as a member of the operations team and then as a two-year director, Michaela oversaw nearly every aspect of the chapter—from marketing and outreach to development and recruitment. After graduation, she continues to volunteer with Camp Kesem, serving as an at-camp advisor for other chapters.
