Perry Communications Group Continues To Earn Gold, Kassy Perry Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

SACRAMENTO – Perry Communications Group (PCG) won five CAPPIE awards at the Sacramento Public Relations Association’s 20th Annual CAPPIE Awards celebration held Thursday, March 29th at the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento.  To top off the evening, President and CEO of PCG, Kassy Perry, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the Sacramento public relations industry and her ongoing significant contributions to the community.  Her award was presented by Stan Atkinson, former Sacramento television news anchor.

“It has been an extraordinary evening and I am honored to accept these awards on behalf of our clients,” said Kassy Perry, President and CEO of Perry Communications Group.  “PCG prides itself on providing strategies and innovative ideas that make a positive difference for each and every client we serve.  Being honored with awards for our work is just icing on the cake.”

PCG received three gold awards for:

  • Overall Public Relations Program – Self-Promotion Campaign – PCG’s 10th Anniversary
  • More Bang for the Buck –The Down Syndrome Information Alliance’s Whispers of Hope book
  • Pro Bono – Pro Bono Campaign – Debbie’s Dream

Additionally, PCG received a silver award for Overall Public Relations Program – Special or Media Event for the San Diego Montel PPA Press Conference and an honorable mention for its work on the CalRVDA event, RVing Paves the Way to Adventure.
