Perry Communications Group Finds the Pot O’ Gold at SPRA’s Annual CAPPIE Awards

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (March 18) – Perry Communications Group (PCG) found the pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow this year, winning four CAPPIE awards at the Sacramento Public Relations Association’s (SPRA’s) Annual CAPPIE Awards ceremony. The gala event was held Thursday, March 17th at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento. The CAPPIE Awards honor the Sacramento region’s best PR work of the past year.

“It wasn’t just the luck of the Irish that helped us win these awards,” said Kassy Perry, President and CEO of Perry Communications Group. “I’d like to thank my excellent team for all their hard work this past year. As always, we appreciate the opportunity to do high-quality work for our clients, and to be recognized for our accomplishments by our peers is a great honor.”

PCG received two gold, one silver and one bronze medal for:

  • Overall Public Relations Programs – Political Public Relations Program – “California Alliance for Hospitality Jobs” Campaign (GOLD)
  • Overall Public Relations Programs – Special or Media Event – Sports Event – “Sacramento International Horse Show” (GOLD)
  • Individual Public Relations Tools – Writing – Editorial/Opinion Writing – “San Francisco Take-Back Program Op-Ed” (SILVER)
  • Overall Public Relations Program – Self-Promotion Campaign – “Perry Communications Group Holiday Card & Gift – Mr. Sandman” (BRONZE)

Perry Communications Group Earns Gold

SACRAMENTO – Perry Communications Group (PCG) won 11 CAPPIE awards at the Sacramento Public Relations Association’s 21st Annual CAPPIE Awards ceremony. The event was held Thursday, March 27th at the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento. The CAPPIE Awards honor the Sacramento region’s best public relations work of the past year.
