Perry Communications Group Wins Gold at SPRA’s Annual CAPPIE Awards Ceremony

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 5, 2013)– Perry Communications Group (PCG) earned two CAPPIE Awards in major categories and received Gold for its first Independent Expenditure Campaign at last night’s ceremony. The annual CAPPIE Awards, hosted by the Sacramento Public Relations Association (SPRA), honors the best public relations efforts from the previous year. The awards ceremony was celebrated April 4, 2013 at The Citizen Hotel in California’s capital city.

“The political PR program is our sweet spot and we aim to win Gold in that category every year,” said Kassy Perry, President and CEO of Perry Communications Group. “Pretty soon PCG will have to sponsor that award since we’ve won it so many times over the past 17 years!”

SACRAMENTO – Perry Communications Group (PCG) won 11 CAPPIE awards at the Sacramento Public Relations Association’s 21st Annual CAPPIE Awards ceremony. The event was held Thursday, March 27th at the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento. The CAPPIE Awards honor the Sacramento region’s best public relations work of the past year.

Back on her feet: Local PR folks know that Kassy Perry is a horsewoman. And they know she had a rough tumble off one of her mounts 18 months ago. But they didn’t learn until recently just how bad that spill actually was.

The news was revealed this month when Perry – head of Perry Communications Group – was awarded a lifetime achievement award from the Sacramento Public Relations Association.

SACRAMENTO – Perry Communications Group (PCG) won five CAPPIE awards at the Sacramento Public Relations Association’s 20th Annual CAPPIE Awards celebration held Thursday, March 29th at the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento.  To top off the evening, President and CEO of PCG, Kassy Perry, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the Sacramento public relations industry and her ongoing significant contributions to the community.  Her award was presented by Stan Atkinson, former Sacramento television news anchor.
